A meeting was held on December 15, 2025, by the Department of Social Work and Counseling with the participation of Department Head Dr. Hazal Swearinger, Dr. Elvan Ulucan Özkan, and Lecturer Seda Veli Baki to evaluate self-assessment and project development processes.
During the meeting, it was decided to plan improvements and updates for the Self-Evaluation Reports (SER). The necessity of systematically monitoring and reporting the processes was emphasized.
In addition, it was decided to continue training and information activities in order to increase TÜBİTAK-supported projects and to disseminate the project culture across all units. The meeting set goals to enhance project application capacity and to improve academic staff’s access to support mechanisms.
At the end of the meeting, a joint decision was made to address quality assurance, accreditation preparations, and project development processes through a holistic approach, to report them regularly, and to carry them forward in line with the principle of continuous improvement.
