Meaningful Event by Social Work Students in Collaboration with Yeşilay

First-year students of the Social Services Department at Çankırı Karatekin University—Merve Nur Öksüz, Atiye Astan, and Sevim Sena Bektaş—organized a meaningful social responsibility event under the guidance of Dr. Hazal Swearinger and with the support of Yeşilay Çankırı Branch President İsmail Özcan and Gamze Kayahan, as part of the “Civil Society and Social Work” course.

The event, held on April 24, 2025, in collaboration with Yeşilay, featured educational and fun activities focused on healthy living for students of Toki Primary School. The children also celebrated National Sovereignty and Children’s Day (April 23), making it an enjoyable and memorable day. The event aimed to introduce children to Yeşilay, raise awareness about healthy living, and promote social consciousness.
